Innovative solutions for climate protection and energy transition
Against the backdrop of rising CO₂ emissions, we are developing technologies that enable CO₂ to be efficiently removed from the atmosphere. With the CLP process, we use seawater as a reaction medium to chemically bind atmospheric CO₂ and recover it in a usable form.
At the same time, we are working with partners to investigate other processes that can be integrated into coastal and seawater systems, including approaches to seawater electrolysis. The aim is to realistically assess the potential of such technologies and identify ways in which they can contribute to the provision of climate-neutral energy sources in the future.
